I have a Symmetra LX 16KVA model, while reviewing it it only has 1 power module in the unit, question is, if that power module goes bad will the Symmetra unit do down?

The design is that if the power modules cannot support the load or you have no redundancy, that the UPS will go into automatic bypass because you'll essentially have an overload condition. This also assumes everything else, like Intelligence Modules, is in good working order. There are specific criteria though for bypass, like if the UPS input voltage/frequency is in range, etc. Assuming your input is in range (and I think there are some settings you can adjust and review in the PowerView display or Network Management Card), it'd go to bypass unless you specify you rather it "drop" your load as to not subject it to utility power.
