Symmetra RM with AP9606 Comminucation Issue??

Hello,

I have a Symmetra RM that has the Web/SNMP Management SmartSlot Card (AP9606) installed. I can communicate with it VIA Telnet, but not HTTP or HTTPS. I was able to communicate with it in the past, but no longer can. I reset all of the settings VIA Telnet, but it didn't change anything.

When I am connected to it VIA Telnet and hit "1" under the Device Manager - nothing shows up, and when I hit "2" under Network it give me a message "DNS is not availabel: no APP running."

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to enable HTTP or re-flash the system? What firmware to use, and/or if there is an OS I can upload to the Symmetra?

Also, I can communicate and reset the Web/SNMP card VIA the Management Card Wizard (v2.01), but when the Wizard is finished and is connecting to the Symmetra VIA a browser it comes up as unable to connect.

Please let me know what other type of info I can post that would be more helpful.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, 326b for the aos works with the 326 app file.

I'm not completely sure on the differences in the "b" and the "non-b" versions, but I'm sure there's a reason for the upgrade. 😃

What LED's are showing on the card?

I'd simply try reseating the NMC into the symmetra. You can do that while the system is running with no problems.

Flashing the firmware would also be a good idea. You can obtain it from the link below.

ftp://ftp.apc.com/apc/public/hardware/webcard/firmware/sy/v326/

To upload the firmware to the card, just do an FTP session via command prompt and put the 2 bin files onto the card. Make sure to put the AOS file on first.

Worked great EZ Button!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Is AOS326b compatible with the Web/SNMP card and/or is there any reason to upgrade to AOS326b (if it is compatible)?

Also, if AOS326b is compatible is there a different newer version of the sy326.bin file I should use and/or is it ok to use with AOS326b?

Thanks again!
