Symmetra RM -One Bay left -What to do

Hello Everyone,
I have a Symmetra RM that has 2 power modules and 4 battery modules. I have one bay left and the server we added last night put me over the top on load capacity. The unit went into bypass mode and I need to understand what I should buy. I think buying another battery will just increase my runtime but not do anything about load capacity. I think I need to buy another power module to increase my load capacity to get out of bypass mode. Can anyone shed light on this for me. Sorry if this is a remedial question.

Hello,

You will need to purchase an sypm2u.

Your correct that batteries give you longer runtime, and power module increase the total capacity the unit is capable of.

You'll have better luck shopping for a SYPM2KU, the actual part number of a Symmetra RM 6000 Power Module.
