Noticed something odd while doing a power audit on our four RM 6000's this weekend and was hoping someone could confirm whether or not this is common or if we have a problem with our UPS's.
Just using the first as an example. We've got a dedicated 208V-30A circuit to our RM 6000 and after doing some reads on the power leading to the UPS from the breaker we're seeing ~9.6A draw on both poles. However the UPS itself is only showing 5.3A on the output via the web console. Just to be sure we didn't have a bad battery or something drawing excess power we did pull the battery modules for the duration of the test.
So I guess the question is, is the ~4.3A loss normal here? does the UPS back-plane, Power Modules, and/or 120V step-down actually consume this much power? We're trying to get an as accurate read as possible for our current load vs what we are actually drawing and want to make sure I'm not missing anything here..any help would be great.
Thanks.

hello,
I will see if i can get some more specific information for you but this does not sound abnormal with what i know currently. The system needs to power the intelligence modules, power modules s and the chargers. Even with the battery modules pulled the chargers still need to be on. I'll report back with any additional info I can find.

Hey, thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay here.
We've got four PM's and three BM's (all of which have been replaced within the last 2 years) on each of the RM 6000's. And yes, there is a 280V to 120V step down.
