Software for Back-UPS Pro unit (BP1100)

I recently unearthed a Back-UPS Pro 1100VA unit from a storage closet, and to my amazement it still works beautifully. I would like to put it back into service but I haven't been able to find compatible software for it, probably because the unit has been discontinued.

The desired OS is Windows 2000 Professional, and the UPS unit uses a serial cable (which I also have). All the software I could find either uses USB or doesn't support this particular unit.

Any help would be appreciated.
