SmartUPS 300 - connecting external batteries
I have a SmartUPS 3000 (SU3000R3BX135). The IT person before me purchased three Smart-UPS XL (SUA48RMXLBP3U) External Battery Packs to connect to the SmartUPS 3000. Unfortunately, he only got as far as getting them in the rack. I know how to connect the battery packs, but I do not see a place to connect the packs to the UPS. Do I need to order a module to facilitate this, and if so, what is the part number?

Unfortunately, that model does not support external battery packs. If you can give me the model number of your battery packs, I can tell you what model UPS would work with the batteries you already have.
edit:
oh, i see you already posted it. You would want the SUA3000RMXL3U. If you look at the link below, you can see the blue XL battery connector on the back of the UPS. The 1st battery pack in the chain would plug into the UPS, and each battery after would plug into the preceeding battery pack.
Also, do you have any idea how long the batteries have been sitting without being charged? If they have been sitting too long, they may be unusable. The serial number of the batteries would tell us how old they are if you aren't sure.
