Smart-UPS X 3000 - AP9631 Network Card Firmware Upgrade Error

I have the above combination of hardware. When I attempt to log into the Web interface I get "The application was unable to load" error. with a GUI screen. 

I was advised to upgrade the firmware on the unit and attempted to  run the firmware upgrade wizard apc_hw05_aos708_sumx708_bootmon109.exe.  

When running upgrade wizard I get t an error.  "Firmware distribution does not match target device platform; this could be due to a corrupt distribution"...  

When looking for firmware updates,  I put in the model number SMX300HVNC   and the search says there is no available firmware.   

I can log into the NMC console with SSL and directly via the COM interface.  

Is there a way to recover from the upgrade error above....  or, failing that,  further determine the appropriate firmware.

don't search for the UPS model number, search for the NMC model, (i.e. AP9631).

You're not trying to flash the f/w on the UPS but the network management card.
