Smart-UPS X 2200 battery pack issues
Hi All,
I have got an APC Smart-UPS X 2200 with an APCRBC143 battery and additional battery pack with 2 more APCRBC143 batteries included.
The ups is showing the following errors:
3 Critical Alarms Present • The battery is not installed properly. • At least one faulty battery exists. • The internal battery temperature exceeds the critical threshold.
I have detached the battery pack but this didn't change anything, i have also replaced the internal battery with the batteries in the battery pack but the alarms stay present. Next I ran the apc_hw05_aos712_sumx712_bootmon109 firmware update. But nothing seems to remove the alarms.
Even wen I had unplugged all batteries, the UPS shows an 'estimated runtime' of 18hr 12min 15sec
How can i Get rid of these alarms? Would i need to replace all batteries or is there something wrong on my UPS?

You have three primary faults detected by the unit that need to be identified and resolved.
Temperature: What is the current operating temperature of the room the unit is operating in? The unit has a NTC (temperature) probe inserted into the battery compartment which informs the system what the temperature is. If it’s too hot this results in the alert message you see. This alert message will not clear until the temperature drops back down to the safe operation range.
Battery: The RBC143 doesn’t match the UPS Model you indicated?!? You can confirm what type of battery is required by pressing the LCD Menu, NMC.
The Smart UPS X 2200 is a 120 VDC and takes a RBC118 cartridge. Please confirm the exact model of UPS and extended battery pack. Better yet show me a photo of the hardware in question with the serial number.
