Smart-UPS X 1500 and External Battery

Just looking for some help with this. Finally managed to get a new External Battery shipped over from Perth to Sydney.

I made sure the connector type was Blue and was 48V so it would be compatible with my Smart-UPS X 1500.

APC Documentation online said it was compatible with Smart-UPS but the plug doesn't seem to fit.

The APC Model is SURT48XLBP, it meets all the requirements it should be compatible?

The actual Model will be on a white sticker under the front cover of the UPS. You most likely have an SMX1500RM2U or SMX1500RMI2U. The correct external battery pack is the SMX48RMBP2U. The SURT48XLBP would be for an SURT series UPS, such as the SURTA1500XL.

Can you verify the model number of your UPS? I believe you likely have an SMX series UPS, but that batttery pack is for an SURT series UPS.
