Smart-UPS RT 6000 XL - regular input power problem

This was originally posted on APC forums on 12/10/2012

Every Monday aat 8:07 Am and 8:22 Am (CST), I get notified that the APC went to battery power:

Warning - UPS: On battery power in response to an input power problem.
Date: 12/10/2012
Time: 08:22:20
Code: 0x0109

It only lasts for a second because I immediately get this message:
Informational - UPS: No longer on battery power.
Date: 12/10/2012
Time: 08:22:21
Code: 0x010A

The 2 emails are literally one second apart.

This is not a self-test because at 11:00 AM on Monday, I get this message:

Informational - UPS: Passed a self-test.

This UPS was only recently connected to the LAN. I imagine these events have been occurring for awhile but we never knew since no emails were being sent. Since I put it on the LAN, it's happened at the exact same time and day for 3 weeks. There's clearly something going on but the logs don't show any more detail.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Tzuriel

is there anything on the UPS circuit that gets powered up at that time each day that could cause a sag on the line i.e. an air condition or heater?

can you provide the full event.txt and data.txt files for us to view please? instructions are here -> http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/ -> search for FA156131

I am not aware of any devices getting powered up at the same time. There's a generator self-test that runs about 40 minutes before these events on the UPS occur.

I've attached the files you asked for.

Thanks,

Tzuriel
