Smart-UPS RT 5000 XL 12 seconds remaining Time
Hello,
we have a Smart-UPS RT 5000 XL with two Batteries. the Batteries are (thats what the Website says) at 100% charge. The UPS has a load of 65% but it tells it will last 12 seconds when power goes down.
We unplugged some devices, had in bypass and back and started a calibration nothing changed. We had no window for a maintainance so that we could reboot it.
I guess we have to change the Batteries? or could a boot help? there are only discharged battery messages in the log.

It sounds like the batteries need to be replaced. How old are the batteries and what is the environment the UPS is in?
An RT5000XL uses the RBC140. That battery pack includes two strings. Each string is 8 x 12v batteries. A good 12v battery should have a float voltage of 13.5v DC. At 13.5v * 8 = 108v. if the voltage is less that would indicate weak battery or batteries.
