Hi, I am encountering an issue setting up email alerting from a Smart-UPS RT 10000 RM XL.
All settings look as they should (Hostname for Internal Exchange Server etc) ran a DNS query under Network for the hostname and this came back fine so the web gui can see the exchange server but just failing when testing the smtp configuration.
Set up a receive connector on the exchange side as well pointing direct to the UPS but still no joy.
Account being used to authenticate / send is my own domain admin (full exchange permissions) to don't believe it to be exchange permissions related but not sure where the failure is.
Any advise or recommendations would be great
Thanks

Hi,
Are you asking about configuring the network card that is installed in the Smart-UPS and if so what is the model number of the card and firmware?

Hi,
You should upgrade the firmware on the NMC. The latest is version 6.6.4 and can be downloaded from this link. https://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/download/download.cfm?sw_sku=SFSUMX664&software_id=MFOI-B5NN2Y&famil...
There are many changes / fixes in the upgrade that should help with email configuration.
