I have been getting this message now for a few weeks, however they seem to get automatically fixed. We have increased the load on this UPS, but not too much.
Here's the most recent group of messages:
04/09/2017 | 01:44:33 | Device | UPS: No longer compensating for a high input voltage. |
04/09/2017 | 01:43:48 | Device | UPS: Compensating for a high input voltage. |
04/09/2017 | 01:30:27 | Device | UPS: No longer compensating for a high input voltage. |
04/09/2017 | 01:23:56 | Device | UPS: Compensating for a high input voltage. |
04/09/2017 | 01:06:19 | Device | UPS: No longer compensating for a high input voltage. |
04/09/2017 | 00:52:51 | Device | UPS: Compensating for a high input voltage. |
The issue seems to correct itself, but there doesn't appear to be much more information than what's listed above. I've been tasked to discover the issue with this new UPS, so any help would be appreciated.

You should turn down the sensitivity, afraid the logs to not always capture spikes.

The voltage is going above the predefined limit for the UPS to trigger trim, at that time of the morning the load on the substation is lowest, when that happens the voltage is highest. I had this and called the utility company who put a monitor in the house then the substation resulting in them turning it down 10 volts. As for the voltage logs they may show it near the upper limit but not going over it as the UPS senses several times per seconds but only logs every 10 minutes by default.

Chuck,
Good day to you. Have you check the data logs and see if what voltage are you getting from utility when this alert is showing up? Gareth is correct that most likely there is something causing it from the outside.

Thank you for your suggestions, however, to my untrained eye, the voltage appears to be normal. I got another error on
04/12/2017 | 02:29:32 |
And the data logs from that window are this:
Smart-UPS 750 | |||||||||||
Date | Time | Vmin | Vmax | Vout | Iout | %Wout | %out | FrqOut | %Cap | Vbat | Tups |
04/12/2017 | 02:36:17 | 114.39 | 128.09 | 116.59 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 60.00 | 100.00 | 27.25 | 19.80 |

This is a bit outside my scope of expertise so please excuse any issues I am overlooking, but there does not appear to be any wide variance in any of the columns.
Thanks again, I'll keep an eye on this post. Also, the issue was rectified by 02:30:23, so it lasted ~1 min
