We recently purchased this unit and it is not detecting input voltage. When I turned it on, it goes to battery mode... input voltage is showing "0". Does this mean there is no electricity on input?

Yes, that would mean that it doesn't see any input voltage. I would verify that there is indeed power at the outlet where you have plugged the unit in. If there is, but the UPS does not see it, I would recommend calling tech support for further assistance.
