Smart UPS 2200VA - Runtime low after battery replacement
Hi
Wondered if someone could give me some advice please.
I have a SUA2200I which I've recently replaced the battery on, however I'm getting Runtime warnings on the UPS when it is running at 20% load. The runtime reports that it is 4 minutes which seems incredibly low compared to what I'm expecting. I checked the powerchute configuration which was from when it was originally installed and I had it configured to shut down the servers automatically after being on battery for 5 minutes and while I can't remember exactly I'm sure I had atleast 10 minutes worth of runtime if not 15 when it was new and had more load on it.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do with it or is it dead?
I've run a Self Test through powerchute which came back as passed and running a calibration through powerchute the battery immediately seems to drop to 0% and then takes a few hours to charge back up but then it still returns a runtime of 4 minutes.
I see various bits posted about a runtime constant that might need resetting - is that possible on this model and is it likely to be the cause of it or am I missing something else.
