Guys:
Can I connect very low power consumption AQUARIUM MOTOR
(Type: Eheim 1048 Watt: 10W@110V ) to my smart-ups su1000
during No-Electricity situration?
I know 3-phase motor is NOT suitable, how about single-phase motor?
thanks

Yes, it's perfect for that. How long do you want it to run? The Smart-UPS 1000 (24v 12Ah) will run it for 2.5 to 3 hours. If you need a even longer runtime, buy a Honda EU1000i. Don't get any other generator. Start the generator and plug in the UPS to it. The Honda EU series have a clean sinewave output and it throttles down according to load level. If you get a different generator, the power quality might be so poor that your SmartUPS might think its too dirty and won't switch out of battery operation and it's going to run at full RPM the whole time, which means it will be noisy and hungry on gas.
Although I think you know better, but since someone not so bright might do it, don't use the generator inside the house or the garage. Start it outside, away from flammable stuff and run an extension cord inside.

There shouldn't be any problem with using that model UPS. The first feature you should look for in a UPS when sizing something for an aquarium is a true sine wave output. Using a UPS with a square wave output (like a Back-UPS) can cause the motor to run at less than 100% capacity, and potentailly create a situation where not enough air is getting into your tank.
With the exception of Smart-UPS SC models, all Smart-UPS do output a true sine wave, and your aquarium motor should run normally.
