Smart-UPS 1000 - Output Load Threshold Exceeded
Hi,
Last night I received an "Output Load Threshold Exceeded" email and the UPS shutdown. I tried to figure out what might have caused it and I'm not sure which way to look. The UPS load is at 50%. Is there a setting that configures this? A subsequent entry in the logs showed that within 30 seconds the issue was resolved but it was too late and the shutdown procedure had started.
Thanks for any pointers

I don't see any way to copy the event/data logs from Powerchute...am I missing anything? I tried to highlight the content from with the program and couldn't do that... maybe because I'm remotely connected to the server?

Would you able to provide the event/data logs? Also, if you could confirm the exact model and the serial, that would be helpful.

Well I was referring to the logs from the network management card or powerchute. If you are using powerchute, you would need to copy and paste the logs into a document and save it as .txt or .doc . You can do the same with the management card or you could pull the .txt files from the NMC via FTP.

can you provide a screenshot? it sounds like you are using the PCBE console? are you looking at this data via a web page or purple GUI? based on what i read, it seems as though you are using PCBE.
what we'd suggest is accessing this software via the web by remoting to the server and going to http:/127.0.0.1:3052 or depending on a newer version, trying https://127.0.0.1:6547. if you are remoting to a different server, you can replace the loopback address (127.0.0.1) with the IP of the server. you might need to add these links to trusted sites in your web browser if its a Windows Server.
see what you get via this method.
is it possible the load spiked briefly? it seems like it spiked briefly, long enough to cause a shutdown, for some reason. this might not be the case, just a guess,E
