Sorry if this is not in the correct location. I've been searching online for an answer to this and haven't found what I'm looking for.
Is there a way to script settings on APC UPSes and PDUs? I'm looking to change the SNMP trap receivers, etc. on several. Can someone point me in the right place as far as if it is possible, what languages can be used, methods, etc.
Thanks!

Another option you have is using the config.ini to mass configure settings once they are available on the network...this might be a little easier. More info below. You can download an existing config.ini and make a template to cascade to different devices.

This is available for the most part
Do you have specifics on any PDU models or Network Management Card models?
For the Rack PDUs, scripting is covered a little here but it is focused on outlet control -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=US〈=en&id=FA156163
For other stuff besides outlet control, the older AP7XXX Rack PDUs have a menu driven command line interface which is a bit difficult to be scripted against but it can be done. On our newer AP8XXX Rack PDUs, there is a CLI that provides most of what you want (or will in a future firmware version coming soon) as far as available to configure via a single CLI. The commands for the newer PDUs are in it's user's guide.
On UPS Network Management Cards, our older management cards (AP9617/18/19) have the same situation as the AP7XXX PDUs and our new Network Management Card 2's (AP9630/31) have the same situation as AP8XXX Rack PDUs except they already have a firmware version available that supports configuring most items via CLI. For example, only newer versions allow configuration of trap receivers there.
So, let me know what specific items you have and I can guide you towards further documentation if you need it.

Thank you for the response Angela. We are working primarily with 7921 PDUs and the UPS management cards are 9618s/9631s. We are configuring them through the CLI to get them online, then via the web interface. I am looking to automate the process a little bit more, or if we have to make changes, do it quicker than one at a time.
