Have a question, when 2 symim's go bad, is it ok to pull out both mim's at the same time when the unit is in maintenance bypass to replace them?

Ideally, even while in Maintenance Bypass via the breaker to the right of the Symmetra LX display, you would replace one Intel Module at a time, so that UPS settings can be copied to the new modules.
Please see our [Knowledge Base article #7320|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7320], entitled "Proper Procedure for Replacing the Intelligence Modules in any Single-phase Symmetra UPS".
It should also be noted that when engaging the Maintenance Bypass breaker on the Symmetra LX, it should be firmly and swiftly pushed to the right to ensure that the load does not experience any interruption in power.

Yes you need to have the maintenance bypass breaker closed when replacing both IM's at the same time.
