Hello,

Have a customer that sent me this. Can you shed some light on this for me. I appreciate it!

I got the intelligence module (IM) in. The new IM is FW ver. 514,S1V,:602 MFG. Date 5-27-13. My running IM is FW ver. 513,S1V,:602 MFG. Date 3-26-08.

These cards are not FW upgradable and since they are different versions the system still alarms.

Should this happen?

Yes, the customer ordered a new one, but says when he put it in, the machine was still showing an alarm.

Here is what he got from tech support.

the tech walked me through the firmware of each card and

told me this was the problem. He said they were not field upgradable and

they must match versions. It runs on either one without error but both

together it alarms. He stated this caused the communication error.
