The service life of the batteries are 3 - 5 years which depends on usage, operating temperature, and environmental conditions.
An environment that is over the recommended operating temperature can reduce the service life in half.
Batteries should be changed out as a set and not separately. Failing to do so can cause bad cells to drain good cells which can reduce the overall service life of the battery cartridge.
Other things to consider is insuring the system is programmed correctly in terms of shut down time. The time remaining before the system shuts down - directly impacts how low the battery voltage will be.
The batteries are rated to endure approximately 260 full depleted cycles. If the system is programmed for the maximum runtime while on battery this counts toward the 260 cycles.
Lastly, battery calibration also impacts the service life / cycles.
