Hi,
I need some wisdom.
I currently have a SURT10000XLi with a 3 phase input. However the phase selector was set to single phase when it was brought online.
An increase in usage above 16Amps has highlighted this mistake resulting in the UPS going into battery mode each time we exceed this limit.
To avail of the UPS full capacity can I put the UPS into battery-mode, change the selector and return to mains, or do I need to full power down.
Maintenance windows are tight and rare for us.
Thanks

Hi Padraig,
Reconfiguring an SURT10000XLI from single phase to three phase input (or viceversa) will require a total power off. Even if the unit is running on battery and output power on, with the wiring tray cover open, the output wiring block would become accessible too. Additionally, it's recommended that the UPS intelligence is reset / restarted when changes are made to the input configuration.
