I have an SUA3000XL UPS that is indicating "Replace Battery" with the blinking red LED and the clicking every five seconds (feels like every three to me). I also have an SUA48XLBP connected to it. Each unit has its own battery pack(s) (RBC11 and RBC55 respectively) but there is no way to tell which battery(s) need to be replaced. I can't afford to swap out all packs unless absolutely necessary. How can I find out which one needs replacement? Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thx. MB

Hi Matt,
Take a look at this knowledge base for some info on this. http://www.schneider-electric.us/sites/us/en/support/faq/faq_main.page?page=content&country=US〈=en&i...
Basically, you can disconnect the external battery pack and run a self test. If it comes back as passed then you know the batteries in the battery pack are the bad ones. If it comes back as failed you know that the ones in the main portion of the unit are bad.
I will add that if the batteries are pushing 5 years of age it is best practice to replace them all. Having old batteries with new batteries can effect the lifespan of your new batteries.
Regards,
Mike
