anyone understand the common fault in these. Also got 2x 1000's that now don't power up at all, cutouts appear normal.
Anyway, the red led on this 1500 is battery replace led, so what's the story with these then, anyone know what fails internally as standard to cause this fault. I am an Electronics Engineer as well as IT chap so could fix, if I can get a heads up from someone in the know. Thanks very much.........yes it's out of warranty!!! but battery was renewed. Need it back on the small server it was protecting.... thanks all in advance. Paul Mac

Hey Paul,
The flashing Replace Battery Light shows that the battery is not connected with the UPS. Please make sure that the batteries are connected to the unit properly internally and externally. If you have got an identical working unit, swap out the batteries and see if it corrects the flashing Replace battery light. This will help you determine if the issue lies with the UPS circuitry or the batteries.
