SU750 Will not shut down when shut down in PCNS is complete

I have an SU750 configured with PCNS to shut down after this workstation is done with the shutdown. I need the UPS to shut down also when done, so I checked the box in PCNS to shut down UPS after shut down is complete, and set all delays to zero and the low battery to where i need it. Still it will not shut down the UPS, it just goes till the battery is dead. It returns just fine to an online state when power is restored. And ports 80 and 3052 are wide open.

NMC FW: 3.5.5
PCNS: 221

You only provided the PCNS end of things. I also asked for screenshots on the NMC portion of things, since that is what controls the UPS turning back on after a shutdown is complete.

Oh by the way, the UPS was be off due to safety concerns, because it is at an un-manned station. So a EPO would be out of the question.

Check the "Turn off ups when shutdown is complete" check box by right clik and refresh on the frame. IE sometimes takes values from the sotred Temp files. This happend with me once. Good luck.

That tip did not do the trick. I tried calling tech support but did not get any real answers but to try upgrading the firmware.

Thanks for you support in advance

Can you provide screenshots of your setup in the Network Management Card? That way we can get a better look at your configuration and whether or not something is hindering the UPS from turning off.

Hello,

The sections we would be looking at are:

PCNS's "Configure Events" page
Any page that has a configuration to "Shutdown System" in PCNS.
The "PowerChute" section of the Network Management Card (make sure the firmware is up to date.
