SU3000RMXL3U won't charge batteries

I currently posses 4 SU3000RMXL3Us that are used to ensure power to two server cabinets, 1 primary and 1 backup UPS for each cabinet. Each UPS also has an external battery pack with two batteries per pack. The two primary UPSs for each cabinet are indicating that a battery is bad(both the LEDs on the front of the UPS, and in the PowerChute software). I have attempted to determine which battery is bad by running a self test with only one battery plugged into the UPS. The results of this test indicated that all 3 cartridges on both of the primary UPSs were bad. I thought this result to be suspicious, so I plugged one battery from each of the primary UPSs into the secondary UPS and let them charge overnight. When I returned the next morning, I plugged these battery cartridges back into their respective UPSs and reran the self test. The battery error cleared. I have rerun the self test several times before and after this, and the UPS indicates a bad battery. I believe the charging unit in these UPSs may be faulty. Is there anyway to test this and perhaps replace the charging block?
Thanks.
Zach

Hi Zack,

Unfortunately if it is the charging mechanism that is bad we'd recommend replacing the entire UPS. If you want to have it fixed, you can contact our authorized repair center Coastal Business Machines.
