SU3000RMXL3U Battery rplacement question

Went to replace batteries on a SU3000RMXL3U. Batteries were pulled from metal cartridge RBC27 and sent to recycling center. I need the wiring config in cartidge to plug the replacement batteries. Looks like 2/Red 2/Blck from plug, and several double ended blk connects. Looked all over website for information with no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

i think what JonPro was saying was that APC intends that you buy a genuine replacement RBC27 where we provide all of the cables, etc already pre-configured. APC does not support using third party batteries and APC cannot provide a wiring diagram to you. someone else might have one and you could utilize it at your own risk.

Who dissembled the battery pack? You? If so, take a picture next time before touching anything.

,

I just recently tore apart and discarded the cells from a 3000XL3U.

In my battery pack, the 8 batteries were two series strings in parallel.

Red Plug wire, Cell, Jumper, Cell, Fuse, Cell, Jumper, Cell, Black Plug wire
Red Plug wire, Cell, Jumper, Cell, Fuse, Cell, Jumper, Cell, Black Plug wire

So, you should have 4 loose jumpers, and 2 loose fuses, and the 4 plug wires.

If not, then ask someone else for help.

,

(I do not represent APC, and I am just some random person on teh webz. Proceed at your own risk.)

If you know the charging voltage of the unit then it will give you an idea on how to connect it, it is usually series-parallel connection. If the charging voltage is 25vdc, then batteries connected should have a reading of 24vdc to 25vdc.

If you have purchased an APC RBC27 battery it should be configured already and is placed on the metal tray.

I said I purchased the batteries for the RBC27 which is 8 12Volt batteries. I am reusing the cables and the casing. Is there documentation anywhere showing the wiring diagram?
