SRTL2200RM4UXLI-NC - Battery Firmware Update loop
Hello,
We've just purchased 2X SRTL2200RM4UXLI-NC systems for our HQ. We were to install them today, but when we plug battery in and turn on the UPS, it recognizes the battery - Then goes into Battery Firmware update (Without us doing anything) - Then approx after 30 seconds, the UPS turns red and says "Connect battery" - for about another 30 seconds, and then it returns to "Battery pack 1 - New pack yes/No prompt" and the whole sequence restarts.
We've left it like this for +12 hours and it never gets passed it.
Using the Network Management we've upgraded to the latest firmware as of 2025-02-01 (SRTL1062UPS_04-8.enc) but the issue persists. The update was done via Firmware Upgrade Wizard v4.3.8v4
What's weird is that BOTH our systems behave exactly the same - We've tried to disconnect and connect battery and communication cable multiple times, we've also tried the 2 batteries in both systems.
Attached is a video showing the loop.
The NMC Web Interface shows the battery being connected and disconnected as well.
UPS Self Tests succeed without any problems on both systems.
Unfortunately APC support isn't available in the weekends, and we'd really like to deploy these tomorrow (Sunday) so shot in the dark if anyone knows what we could possibly be doing wrong.
