SRT2200XLI In UPS Initiated Bypass
Hello,
I have an SRT2200XLI UPS that i bought last month. The standard everyday load of the UPS is approximately 500VA (according to the little screen in the front).
Today it started beeping continuously for no apparent reason, and when i checked the screen in the front it said "Power SysError 02000 - Contact Customer Support".
The first thing that i thought was the USB cable connecting it to the server, because it was unstable since the beginning (connection lost and restored emails every 5 minutes). After unplugging the USB cable, i connected the serial cable to a different server (one that had a COM port) and reinstalled PowerChute on that server. But nothing changed.
After checking the logs in the little screen menu i found an event that said: "Inverter Hardware Ckt Event Code 107 17-Jul-2018 18:45"
When i tried to perform a self test it Refused because the UPS is in an invalid state. When i tried to exit Bypass from PowerChute it said "Accepted" but the UPS stayed in Bypass.
I powered off all 3 servers that are on this UPS, powered off the UPS, then unplugged the servers from the UPS outlets, then i unplugged the UPS from the wall outlet, then i removed the batteries and left it alone for about 10 minutes. Then i reconnected everything and powered on the UPS.
But the error remained.
This is a brand new unit that has been operating for about a month now with the default factory installed battery pack.
Does anyone have any advice as to how i should proceed?
