Hello, I tried update SRT6KXLI via web browser with SRT1013UPS_15-0.enc file (file is ok, tested on the second ups). Transmission was interrupted during process.
Now I have several alarms and all outlets are disconnected. NMC2 card is available (http/ftp/ssh) but is not possible start fw update. This doesn't affect whether is it web browser or dedicated software and usb/serial cable. Is not possible to switch ups to off state and start upgrade. Do you know of any command that allows force ups change state or start an upgrade?
Logs in attachement.

If the unit in question is still under APC warranty submit a RMA to have the unit repaired / replaced. If the unit is NOT in warranty you can try to contact (Coast Tec) who are the only APC authorized refurbishment company in North America.
You could reach out to them to see if they offer services to repair this unit. As they have direct access to documents, hardware, and software for various APC equipment not available to the general public.
NOTE: At a high level it should be stated for the benefit of others who may see this thread. Attempting a firmware upgrade on any APC UPS is serious risk! As seen here a person can see success vs failure while upgrading a unit.
As such, firmware should be guided (Live) by APC Support regardless if in warranty or not. Upgrades should be done only to address security, bugs, or feature enhancements of the unit.
In all cases a physical (serial) connection to the unit must be present using the supplied APC cable. Whether that be the DB9 -> RJ50 / RJ45 -> 1.2 mm barrel Jack to the NMC. The same can be made if required by doing a simple Google. At no time should you use a standard (Off the shelf) serial cable as they are not physically wired correctly to connect to the UPS. Which will result in a shut down of the UPS if used.
Computer: A laptop computer should be used as it provides independent battery power should there be AC Mains disruptions. Using a dedicated laptop also removes any network related barriers such as firewall, traffic, VLAN, etc.
The laptop should be set to disable all power / energy / sleep / hibernation modes. This includes disabling NIC, hard drive / screen save features.
NMC: The NMC provides the option to upgrade the UPS over the network. This option is NOT recommended because it’s not a physical connection to the main unit!
The connection is via the LAN . . .
If success is to be seen all of the above steps as outlined for a laptop must be defined and set on the client desktop. Along with the most critical part of setting the logout time to the maximum value! 99% of the time failures happen because the person is logged out by the NMC while the firmware process is underway! This is why firmware upgrades using the NMC Webpage is not recommended.

In 2024 APC still does not use or have hardware that incorporates the ability to roll back firmware. They do not store the previous firmware in high memory! As such there is no way for the consumer to roll back to a previous good working state.
Every failure and attempt to reinstall firmware is blocked - because the system thinks the output is still on?!? 🤦♂️👎
One would think after 30 years they would incorporate a setting to ignore or bypass this output error?!?! 😡
Whether that be via LCD Menu, NMC, CLI.

LAN - I meant directly connecting laptop to eth port in UPS.
Either way unit was repaired an authorized service in Poland.
Diagnose - UPS probably turned itself off during upgrade?
Repaired mainboard, replaced COMM and CNTRL cards.
