SNMP, MIBs, missing?
I've been trying to find on this site anywhere that talks about setting up a Switched PDU using SNMP, and I'm getting nowhere fast. It seems like all of the documentation is missing (support had to email me some PDFs because they are not on the web site), and the powernet mib files are all listed as "discontinued", and are unavailable for download.
Can anyone point me to any information about this? I'm trying to set up monitoring in our NMS, and all I have are some out of date files (powernet367.mib) and virtually no documentation.
Basically all you'll have to do is load our mib file onto your NMS and make a few configuration changes to your PDU's. In the web interface you can go to Administration -> Network and enable SNMP and set your community strings. Also under Administration -> Notification you can set your NMS as a trap receiver from the PDU's.
Once you get communication working, I'd suggest using a MIB browser like getif to find the OID's that you'll want to monitor. You can also use the link below to help you out.
