Hello:
Looking for some help from the community. I have a SMX2200RMLV2U with Firmware Revision
UPS 02.0 (ID10).
- Is this the highest supported firmware for this device (could not find model number / ID explicitly in release notes).
- Replaced batteries and now intermittently beeps. Network management card says "At least one battery fault exists".
Ideas to remediate? Thanks!

You can obtain the ID by selecting the About tab via the LCD Menu. Please state the serial number and compare it to this APC FAQ:
https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA279197/
If your hardware was produced before date code 1037 (2010 week 37) with firmware 2.XX and below.
Than it cannot be updated per the APC FAQ.
As it relates to the battery fault please offer more information pertaining to this issue. Things to consider and do before you reply.
Battery: Was the system replaced with a brand new certified APC battery cartridge?!? Did you simply replace the individual cells?!?
Battery Replacement: Have you reset the battery replacement counter?!? If no simply unplug the battery cartridge and wait for the system to declare this fault.
Wait another 10-15 seconds than reconnect the battery cable. You should see a replacement battery message. Toggle from No to Yes and enter the month and year and hit save.
Follow up with manually initiating a Self Test. Once it passes wait for the system to indicate the battery cartridge is 100%.
Complete this process by manually initiating a battery calibration. There must be a minimum of 30% attached load on the outputs.
Once the battery calibration is complete let the system recharged the new battery cartridge.
Report back what you see and observe. Please state the information requested up above and provide the data / event logs from the system and upload the same to the APC Forum for review.
