I got a 3 month old SMT3000RM2UC that has an error p.06. I disconnect the load and the power, still beeping. I held the off button to shut it down. Added the power back; when turned on immediate p.06. Any ideas?
Thanks...Jim

Hi @Jimbo99,
Thank you for using the SE Community. Apologies for the late revert on this query. I understand that your UPS is throwing a P.06 fault and you weren't able to recover from it after shutting it down. Let me help you with this.
The P.06 fault on the UPS is also known as the AVR Relay Weld fault, would you happen to know if your site is having a fluctuating voltage that would cause the UPS to intermittently boost and/or trim the voltage?
You can perform a brain-dead and cold start on the UPS, to do this you may refer to the FAQ below that outlines the process.

Thanks for chiming in JonPro. The site is remote for me so I will not be able to get there until Sunday. I saw the video on the brain-dead and cold start. I'll give it a shot Sunday.
The building has had a lot of voltage fluctuating. They have been flipping over to generator power, several time recently. The mains coming in from the power company are being replaced and it's taking longer than expected.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks...Jim

Hi @Jimbo99
Considering that the site does have unstable input voltage, might as well change the power quality/sensitivity of the UPS to a much lower setting.
To change these settings, please see the FAQs below.
What are the different sensitivity settings of a Smart-UPS?
What are the Power Quality settings for an SMT or SMX Smart-UPS?
