SMT1500C B.04 error

I just opened and installed a SmartUPS 1500C; and when I turned it on I received the alarm event code B.04.

What should I do to get the UPS functional?

This is a charging issue so there’s nothing for you to do. Please submit a RMA with APC Technical Support to assist in a warranty replacement.

You’ll need to have on hand the purchase receipt, serial number, and error code.
