SMT1000RM2U Neutral to Ground Voltage
I just purchased a used SMT1000RM2U unit 120V and gives the error of Site Wiring Fault. When measuring voltage of neutral to ground on the house receptacle, it is zero but when the UPS is plugged into the house receptacle, the voltage goes above 40V between neutral to ground.

What is the history of this unit? Did you buy it as advertised for parts / broken / working?!?
You can easily confirm if the site wiring fault is true along with doing the same measurements. Move the unit to another building and see if the same fault / measurements are seen.
If the same problem and 40 VAC N-G voltage is seen the unit has an obvious internal hardware fault.
If you do not see the same active fault and voltage at a different site let me know.
