Hi all,
The subject says it all. I have a SMT1000 that does not power back on automatically after it has drained and AC power resumes. The power button must be pressed to turn it back on. Here is what I've checked:
-Outlet Groups: None of them have the checkbox checked that says "Stay off after power returns."
-Shutdown Configuration: the "On-Battery Shutdown Behavior" has the option selected "Restart when power is restored."
My SMT1000 is running firmware UPS 09.4 (ID18).
Anyone have any ideas?

The UPS turned out to be defective. Replacing it fixed the problem.

The UPS is designed to require intervention when the batteries are drained to zero. Depending on the load, you can configure the outlet groups to power off when there is only x times left of the battery. I recommend setting the outlet off for 5 minutes. That way, the UPS will power back up when the AC is restored.
With the settings above, the outlet group will power off when runtime falls below 5 minutes. It will power back on when the AC is restored after an eight-second reboot delay.

It looks like the settings in your screenshot will power off when the runtime falls below 5 seconds, not minutes. Was that a typo?
