SMT + AP9631 issues Universal I/O at Port communication.

So odd one that I just can't work out as the fault seems to stay with the location / UPS not the AP9631 and AP9335T sensor.

Last week we had an older SMT 1500 with AP9335T that started giving the occasional SYSLOG "Environment: Lost the local network management interface-to-integrated Environmental Monitor (Universal I/O at Port 1) communication. 0x0345" so I started with a reboot of the AP9631 and the issue continued.

Next step was a firmware update from sumx v6.2.1 / aos v6.2.1 / bootmon v1.0.8 to sumx v7.0.8 / aos v7.08 / bootmon v1.0.9 and the issue continued for a weekend where the sensor was mostly working but tripped out about 6 times over 48 hours.

So today I took over a spare AP9631 that was running 7.0.3 and it then would not pickup the original AP9335T at all or a brand new AP9335TH... I took the original AP9631 card back to my desk and tried it in another SMT with a spare AP9335T and the same AP9335TH and it found them no problem at all.

I used the CLI commands uio -disc and ui -st and just get U1:NA and U2:NA with the original SMT where as in a spare SMT UPS the same card shows the sensors.

Thinking that maybe I am going mad and there is something with the SMT firmware itself that affects the AP9631 which I did not think it did. So this afternoon I did a Outputs off firmware update to UPS 15.0 (ID18) from 9.3 I think it was. Again no UIO devices are found.

Nothing has changed in the cupboard this UPS sits in for years and I'm at a bit of a loss other then just swapping out the whole UPS which I'll do tomorrow at this rate - any insight is welcome... thanks Mark

I forgot to add I also tried resetting the card to defaults and doing a couple more reboots, still no sensors found. Unless I move the AP9631 to another SMT at my desk that is... most odd.
