Hello. I recently bought a APC SMT750 Smart-UPS that was demo. I am missing the documentation for it. My question is about the Battery Serial Connectivity. I can find no documentation that references or mentions this feature in any detail other then to say it's there. Can anyone give more info on this. Are there expansion battery packs available for this unit at this time? Is there any cabling available to make my own packs? I perfer to make my own cables and packs where I got lots of wire and batteries.
Here's a reference link for my Unit. http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SMT750&xtmc=smt750&xtcr=1

SMT series UPSs do not offer or support external/extended run battery packs. If you wanted that, you'd want to look at the SMX models as that is one of their features.
You mentioned SMT750 which is a 120V model so here is the brochure on the 120V models comparing SMT and SMX-> http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/VYOG-8WLK6U/VYOG-8WLK6U_R2_EN.pdf
