SMT-1000 LCD Panel Normal Operation
My SMT-1000 is at the latest version of firmware, (ID17) v 07.1, is configured to have the display remain off. Many time during the day I can walk past the UPS and find the display turned off. At other times, however, the display is on and cycling through a couple of screens including Battery Percentage, Runtime, Last Change over, etc.
Is this considered normal operation or is something amiss?

Hi Joe -
If the UPS has any activity (switches to battery, enables boost, etc etc) the display will turn on and then go off a few minutes later. this is normal behavior.
