Hi together
I have updated a SMART-UPS X1500 (ID1050, 16.0 Firmware) with the newest 16.5 Firmware and forgot to take the output off... normally in Web interface, there is a warn message to turn of ups, but not on this ups.
now the state is: Discharged, Internal Communication Fault, Firmware Mismatch
Are there possibilities to revert ?

Had contact with schneider Electric Support. They suggest a completely reset: https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156611/
Otherwise ups needs to be replaced.

A brain dead reset is one of the limited options but from personal experience has no impact in resolving the problem.
As noted earlier asked you what the purchase date & serial number of the hardware?!?
Lastly, you may consider reviewing this resource link and report back success / failure using X-Modem.

there are new updates after a colleague was able to do a brain dead :
the brain dead triggered a new firmware update process. After this, we were able to connect to the ups over web and we were able to start the outlet groups. At this time ups did not show up any error on display or in the events.
Connecting the next day again by web, we got the message : "Application is incompatible with this AOS"
CLI Connection was still possible. After disabling http/https and enabling againg http/https, the NMC is not responding anymore. I have to wait again for the colleague onsite to reboot.
I will get back when I have more informations.
