Hello. I have a Symmetra LX Model:SYA16KRMT and I recently upgraded the firmware (which I believe was for the incorrect UPS model). After upgrading the firmware I am able to access the NMC remotely, but it says it has lost communication with the UPS. I have restarted the NMC, but it still says it has lost communication with the UPS. So, is it possible to rollback the firmware on an AP9619 NMC or is the correct firmware available on APC's website? Thanks.

Hello.
Yes, no harm done by accidentally flashing the wrong application firmware on. It is likely that you accidentally flashed Smart UPS firmware which is incorrect as you noted. If you log in to the web and go to Administration->General->About and see what it says for application module name, does it say sumx, dpe3, or sy3p? If so, then yes, the wrong application is loaded and just needs to be adjusted.
You can just re-flash it using these instructions (How do I upgrade the firmware on an APC Network Management Card? | FAQs | Schneider Electric US) and then go to http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm and select Firmware Upgrades - Network Management Card and look for part number SFSY372 to download and upgrade to.
Let me know if you have any questions.
