In my home, I have 5 roller shutters operated by tubular motors, each with a power of approximately 160W. The typical operation cycle (raising or lowering) lasts 30-40 seconds.
Assuming that all motors operate simultaneously for a full raising or lowering, I would like to know what type of UPS I need so that, in the event of a power outage, I can perform at least one or two raising and lowering cycles until power is restored.
Additionally, I am looking for a solution that:
Provides me with the ability to monitor the UPS health via an application.
In the event of UPS failure, allows the motors to bypass the unit and continue operating as long as power is available.
What is your recommendation for this scenario?

This has to be one of the strangest questions posed in this forum. 🤦‍♂️
Your current stated requirements either require multiple cheap (UPS) units or extra auxiliary equipment such as a ATS / Bypass.
Or more expensive systems that incorporate a manual bypass.
As it relates to monitoring the UPS the options are buying systems that support serial connections whether via USB, RS-232, RJ50, RJ45.
At a base level the local monitoring depending upon specific model would use APC Power Chute Software on a local computer via USB.
Newer systems with a (C) SKU indicate support for APC Smart Connect (Subscription based) cloud monitoring.
More expensive systems also incorporate a Smart Slot for a NMC (Network Management Card) to allow complete local & remote control, monitoring, and management.
Your budget will dictate what path and options are available to you. I’m not sure why anyone would invest any finances and run endless power cables to a window shutter?!? 🤣
It would make a lot more sense to invest in a whole house generator with a ATS. Going this route would allow you to power critical systems and circuits like fridge, freezers, sump, furnace, lights, and emergency outlets.

If there are dedicated circuits in the breaker panel for the shutters, it would be relatively easy for an electrician to wire in a sub-panel which a UPS could be connected to. This is a strange application, so you should consider the electrical code. If not, it will be a lot more work. You will need to find out what the power factor of the motors is. Then select a UPS with a high enough VA rating based on the power factor. A 1500W UPS should be sufficient, but your licensed electrician will have to confirm that. Which UPS you use is based more on the VA rating than the Wh rating since you only require a few cycles. If you need to monitor the UPS remotely, then you either need to select a UPS that supports cloud monitoring or you need an NMC and a PC running PCNS. Of course, the PC also needs to be on the UPS, not to mention the internet connection, which will go away when the power is out.
A generator is probably more versatile and less of a hassle, but generators aren't inexpensive, especially considering you need to wire in a transfer switch.
