Recalibration Failure

I have a Smart UPS 1500. It worked fine until two weeks ago when we replaced the battery, using a RBC7, as recommended by CDW-G, our vendor. After following the steps to charge and recalibrate the battery 3 times, it still shows insufficient runtime and the "Battery Charge" lights are all blinking. I followed the steps as outlined by APC to recalibrate the battery, to the letter. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how did you "fix" it? Right now, any power loss, no matter how short, results in a shutdown of the system I have plugged into the UPS.

Are you doing the manual runtime calibration outlined in K-Base 1497 or the Software initiated calibration from PCBE?

Your post contains APC Fix, which is software that directly interfaces with the EEPROM of a UPS that is unsupported to the fullest capacity by APC, and will not be allowed to be posted here on the forums.
