RT10000RMXLI is no-go
I've inherited a RT10000RMXLI which has been out of service for some time, and I've been asked to install it into a new office of the company I work for.
I can't find anyone who knows the background on the unit, so I have no idea of its status, other than it "looks" like new.
However, when I tried to test it (unloaded) by plugging it in (admittedly just on a 10-amp single-phase circuit) and pressing the on button - I get absolutely nothing - regardless of the bypass/online setting.
So, I pulled the RBC44 units out and measured them at: 84V, 78V, 42V and 42V
I know that there is a lower threshold that these APC online units require (does anyone know what it is?) but would that stop the unit from responding at all, or is this indicative of something more serious ??
Is there any way to test the unit without taking a gamble on replacing the full battery set - which is certainly not cheap.

These units require good battery bus voltage for the UPS to turn on/operate in bypass. We usually say the cutoff is between 80-90v so it sounds like even though one of your batteries is close to being OK, the rest are not. Unfortunately, you would need to purchase 2 RBC44 in order to further troubleshoot.
