RS 1500 will not detect 230VAC when plugged in.

RS 1500 with extra battery module: After power failure, when net power is back and the powerbutton is pressed, it shows "green On Line" for some sec, then over on "yellow On Battery". When connecting Power Chute, it reports" no connection to aux power". The batteries are new and produce over 12VDC, the aux net is at 23VAC. I have tried adjusting sensibility up and down. Disconnected the extra battery: no change. The electrical connection to the PC-board is ok for for the 230VAC. Can it be fixed or shall I just ground it?
