Powerchute and Rpi

Can the Powerchute Business software run on a Raspberry Pi with Raspian OS? Can the UPS communicate with the UPS? What do I need to make this work?

apcupsd really needs to run by itself.

Ok great thanks. I have found the download for that. One last question is do I need both the powerchute and the apcupsd or is the apcupsd to be run in lieu of powerchute for my system?
