Im worried that this is the same issue from a while back where you had to upgrade from version 6 to version 7. I upgraded v7.0.4 to 7.0.5 and I still had the issue. Also installed the latest version of java (Version 6 update 3).
Like before, I can disable the services in safe mode and then the server starts fine. Otherwise other services hang and it never gets to the login.
Has anyone else seen this yesterday (10/04/07) or today (10/05/07)? Or is there just something quirky with my install?
I feel like a scientist on the verge of seeing an epidemic.

This particular server was Windows 2003 SBS sp2 with a Smart UPS 1500va. After some frantic testing with some similar setups, it seems the problem is local to that server. I disabled the services and and turned on the native OS UPS management. So, dont worry about it.

What operating system(s) are you using, and what UPS model(s)? I haven't heard of anyone else having the problem you are describing, but once I know your config, I can set it up myself, and post my results if you would like.
