Greetings,
I searched google and the forums here but alas cannot find any mention of the issues I'm having. I recently connected my Windows 7 64-bit PC to my BP500U and installed PowerChute Personal 3.0. A couple features work fine such as reading my serial# and firmware version under help&support technical data, and correctly detecting when my power source is plugged in or not. However most features in the application don't work at all.
1. The bottom bar says "Managed PC shutdown not provided."
2. The estimated battery time has 2 dashes instead of an ETA.
3. The entire Monitor System tab is missing.
4. Most features are missing under the Configuration tab. I only have Options and Runtime.
5. When I click help&support Contact APC, and submit a ticket, it aborts with an error that it cannot detect my internet connection even though I'm on a cable modem and both Internet Explorer and Outlook are working perfectly.

to me it sounds like the UPS is not properly communicating with PCPE. have you tried to reboot your UPS but unplugging and removing your computer from the UPS, turning the UPS off, unplugging it from the wall, and then removing the battery while holding the off button for 10 seconds? i'd try this, and then reconnect everything.
before you do that though, did this ever work properly? if so, when did it stop working properly. can you send us a screenshot of the info you do see from it so we can see what we're working with?
also, an error of the screenshot about not connecting to the internet might be helpful. it does not sound like anything PCPE related but we can confirm or deny that.
