Is PowerChute Network Shutdown compatible with OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks?
We have a load of Mac Pro's we need to upgrade to Mavericks and the "Operating System, Processor, JRE and Browser Compatibility Chart" for the installed PCNS 3.0.1 only indicates support for Mac OS X 10.7.2 (Lion) and 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion),

You're welcome.
Hope the answer is helpful to other users.
Since there is little to no information available on running PCNS on Mavericks I'd appreciate feedback from the community.
Regards
Stefan

Thanks for the info.
If PCNS 3.0.1 doesn't work on Mavericks we'll go with apcupsd.
Having 8 Macs connected to the same Smart-UPS RT 8000 RM XL this is the only real alternative to PCNS.
Not such a nice web interface but works well.

Even though not officially supported by APC the PCNS 3.0.1 for Mac seem to work on Mavericks (10.9.4 in our case) using Java for OS X 2014-001
This is the Java 6 runtime environment provided by Apple for OS X 10.7 and later.
After upgrade to Mavericks it just required a re-install but took over all settings from the previous installation (nice).
We'll keep apcupsd as plan B nevertheless.
