Hello,
I was wondering where I can configure the battery limit before PowerChute sends out the signal for the servers to be shutdown. for example, say I want to have the servers shut down after the ups's drop to 50% power. Is this possible?
Is it one of these options?

Hi,
Technically PowerChute does not send out the shutdown signal the network card does. Depending on the version of PowerChute Network Shutdown your options are to start OS shutdown after UPS has been on battery for x amount of time. When UPS has x amount of runtime available or leave at the default and when UPS reaches the low battery threshold the OS will begin the shutdown process.
If you have not configured any shutdown events in PCNS then based on the screenshot when the UPS reaches 5 minutes of runtime (low battery) the NMC will send a signal to PCNS and the OS will be commanded down.

Ohh that makes sense. Right now in the PCNS client I have configured just one shutdown option for the "UPS On Battery". So looking at this, the server will start to shutdown after 2min and it will ignore the "Low Battery Duration: 05 minutes" option from the UPS config page?

Hi,
Yes. That is correct. The OS will be commanded down after the UPS has been on battery for 2 minutes.
